What Rosemary Children's Foster Family and Adoption Agency is:

Rosemary Children's Services Foster Family and Adoption Agency is one of the five programs managed by the agency. We are a nonprofit that is committed to following our mission statement that states services are provided to children and families through placement in safe, nurturing, respectful homes while supporting plans for family reunification, adoption or emancipation. Rosemary Children's Services is proud to be able to provide quality care to the children entrusted to us by the Department of Children and Family Services and Child Protective agencies. We are licensed by the state of California.

A Resource Family (Foster/Adoptive) has been trained and certified as a foster family and can assist in the reunification process by providing a stable nurturing home and also has an approved Adoption Home Study. A Resource Family (Foster/Adoptive) is prepared immediately to take the child to be adopted, if the child is unable to be reunified with their birth family.

Resource Families assist with a shorter timeline to permanency because the family is ready to adopt. This reduces the time the child is in foster care and shortens the adoption process. Because of this, the child has reduced trauma from birth family removal and fewer foster home placements.
