Day Rehabilitation provides therapeutic activities and services offering our teen girls the tools to develop physical, emotional and psychological well being. This program is funded through a contract with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
These services include:
Individual exercise programs and team sports provide physical activities to build strong minds and bodies.
Individual, family and peer group therapy sessions provide psychological insights that promote behavioral changes and restore mental and emotional health.
Individual needs are assessed and identified to place residents in specialty groups such as anger management, body image, drug and alcohol awareness, and teen pregnancy. Participation in these groups provides valuable knowledge and resources to help overcome and eliminate possible barriers to success.
Independent Living Skills training provides the knowledge for clients to successfully transition to adulthood and positively contribute to their community.
The unique creative and artistic abilities of our residents are developed and expressed through dance, drama, music, poetry and art activities that provide a safe way to release their childhood pain and nurture their hopes for tomorrow.
